In 1990
Nissan stopped competing in the Le Mans, and NISMO took its
place. The Skyline-based NISMO GTR LM was entered in Le Mans
in 1995 and 1996. The NISMO GTR LM was modified to 2WD (FR)
drive, which is a better choice for heavy vehicles. It was
10th overall and 5th in its class and was powered by a Group
N specification engine. read

Based
on the Skyline GTR, Skyline GTR LMs were created as an official
road car so NISMO could take part in the 1996 24 Hours of
Le Mans. To meet homologation regulations, a street legal
version had to be built. read

Nismo developed
the Skyline GTR for endurance racing with a pair of JGTC specification
R33s for the 24
Hours of Le Mans in 1995. In 1996 the Skyline GTR LMs would
return, this time they had enlarged RB26DETTs displacing 2.8
litres, lifting power to an impressive 600 bhp. read

In 1997
the NISMO 400R was released, a racing version of the Skyline
GTR R33. It uses a larger version of the
RB26DETT engine called the RBX-GT2, producing 400hp at 6800rpm.
A larger stroke of 77.7mm and bore of 87mm make for a larger
displacement of 2771cc. read

The
1998 NISMO Skyline GTR JGTC " Pennzoil NISMO GTR"
won the All Japan GT Championships. The engine displacement
for 1998 was increased from 2,658cc to 2,708cc, and maximum
output topped 500PS. read

The NISMO
Skyline GTR JGTC competed in the 2000 Japan GT Championship,
GT-500 class and was driven by U. Katayama and M. Krumm competed
in the series with this NISMO works machine "Castrol NISMO

The 2002
Nismo Skyline GTR JGTC performed very well that year and provided
much entertainment in The Super GT series previously known as
All-Japan Grand Touring Car Championship or JGTC. The race is
a grand touring car race series which is endorsed by the GT-Association.

R34 GTR Z-tune was released by NISMO, it is Limited to 20 Units
only. This is the final and
best edition of the Nissan R34 GTR Skyline available. NISMO
"Nissan’s Motor Sport division" have stripped
down and rebuilt this monster from the ground up. read
