Nissan launched
a racing circuit use-only "Club Track" edition of the
R35 GTR and an ultra-exclusive "EGOIST" version that
can be custom-ordered according to the desires of each individual
customer. It has been produced with the help of NISMO and NOVA
Engineering in Shizuka and Nordring tuning in Saitama, Japan.
The Nissan
Track Club Edition GT-R is only available in Japan and originally
cost ¥10,479,000 $120,725/€92,205) Plus you have to be
to be part of the club, the Prestige Club of GTR that is, will
cost an additional membership fee of 2 million yen ($23,024/€17,598).
Annual dues amount to another ¥1 million $11,513/€8,800)
yearly, for all of that you get the special GTR, a race number
and inclusion in two race days and an annual meet.
The 2009 GTR
Track Club Edition comes with the standard twin-turbo 3.8-litre
V6 engine 485 bhp
(362 kW / 492 PS) and 434 lb-ft (588 Nm) of torque. On the inside,
upgrades include a four-point harness (with six-point retention)
on a Bride Gardis III seat, a data log kit from NISMO and an automatic
fire suppression system. Performance upgrades to be had here,
including a new programming of the ECM, traction control and ABS
systems,plus two-way adjustable Bilstein dampers and new upper
front links. Also a front lip spoiler has been added and 20-inch
Rays Forged Aluminum wheels. Inside, there's a four-point harness
(with six-point retention) on a Bride Gardis III seat, a data
log kit from NISMO and an automatic fire suppression system.
