In 2005 the R34 GTR Z-tune was released by NISMO, it is Limited to 20 Units only. This is the final and
best edition of the Nissan R34 GTR Skyline available. NISMO "Nissan’s Motor Sport division" have stripped down and rebuilt this monster from the ground up.

The R34 Z-tune engineers have made the car the most powerful road-going GTR ever created. Using rebuilt
R34s and a touch of technology borrowed from the GT500 Racing GTRs and endurance racing GTRs, under the hood the Z-tune has a 2.8 L twin turbo "RB 26DETT Modified Z2 engine" instead of the stock 2.6 L engine, upgraded ECU, racing pistons, connecting rods and camshafts, and an producing 500 hp (370 kW) and 540 N·m (400 lb·ft) of torque.

The wheel package for the R34GT-R Z-tune are black LM GT4 “GT500 Model” lightweight forged aluminum wheels which were developed jointly with RAYS. The same rim shape and color as used for GT500 race vehicles.

The Nismo GTR Z-tune is a limited edition, and only 19 were ever made and sold.
