2002 NISMO Skyline GTR JGTC front

In January 1999 the Nissan Skyline R34 the tenth generation was launched, along with the R32 and R33 it also performed great on the racing circuit. The 2002 Nismo Skyline GTR JGTC performed very well that year and provided much entertainment in The Super GT series previously known as All-Japan Grand Touring Car Championship or JGTC. The race is a grand touring car race series which is endorsed by the GT-Association.

In its first race ever, also a IMSA GT exhibition race, the plate consisted of mainly Japan Sport cars and two nissan skyline GTR's entered by NISMO being the only two genuine JGTC cars.
